Report a Printing Issue
Something not right with your order? Use the form below to let us know.
If there is a problem with your finished print order, please report it to TMCS. We’ll review the issue, work with our production partner, and if the job qualifies for a reprint, we’ll help determine and coordinate the appropriate resolution.
Common Printing Issues
Printing problems happen. Examples of issues that may qualify for a reprint include:
-
Products damaged during shipping
-
Incorrect cutting, trimming, folding, or finish
-
Printing defects
-
Incorrect quantity or product received
-
Significant color variation* outside normal printing tolerances
-
Other production defects that affect the finished product
What Isn't Covered
A reprint does not cover errors in artwork approved for production or changes requested after approval, including:
-
Spelling, pricing, dates, phone numbers, or other copy errors
-
Incorrect information supplied by the customer
-
Design or content changes requested after proof approval
-
Issues visible on an approved proof but discovered after production
-
Normal variations inherent in commercial printing
When a production issue qualifies for a reprint, TMCS will coordinate the reprint and shipping with our production partner at no additional cost to you.
* Color Variation
Commercial printing is produced within accepted industry color tolerances rather than to an exact color match. Normal variations can occur due to differences in paper, inks, coatings, equipment, printing methods, and production conditions.
Because of these variables, printed color may differ from what appears on a monitor, a proof, or even a previous printing of the same job. Color variations that fall within the production printer’s accepted tolerances are considered normal and generally do not qualify for a reprint.
If your project requires critical or closely matched color, please let TMCS know before production so we can discuss available proofing or color-matching options.
